DENTON, Texas — Sharon V. Gardner, 93, of Denton, Texas, formerly of Clinton, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on February 19, 2025, at Carriage House Assisted Living, Denton, Texas.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Stephen Gardner officiating.  Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa.  Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sharon was born on December 17, 1931, in Clinton, the daughter of Harvey and Leona Fern (Snodgrass) Woizeski.  She married Gerald Thomas “Jerry” Gardner on April 1, 1951 in Clinton.  He passed away on November 5, 2007.

Survivors include her children: Stephanie Hartong (Gene), Denton, Texas; Stephen (Kathy) Gardner, Branson, Mo.; David (Susan) Gardner, Stelle, Ill.; Michael (Shayla) Gardner, Puyallup, Wash.; William “Chip” Gardner, Beloit, Wis.; and Barbara (Paul) Heinich, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren also survive.

 Sharon was a member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church.
