Two new positions added during Unit 15 virtual school board meeting

High school drivers’ ed. behind-the-wheel will continue behind schedule

CLINTON — In its first virtual meeting, the Clinton school board approved the hiring of two new positions for the district.

A new full-time technology position for Clinton High School has been added for the upcoming school year to replace the work done by Dorothy Harrold.

Harrold officially retired two years ago but agreed to stay on part-time to help for a couple years.

Superintendent Curt Nettles said the more advanced high school technology students had started assisting the IT help desk prior to the school closure.

“I’m not sure how long we had (that program) running, but we did get that going.” However, he said the district is still going to need a full-time position in its IT department.
