CLINTON — The Chamber of Commerce has accepted another donation to help renovate the Ultimate Play Space. Chamber executive director Marian Brisard accepted the check on Nov. 19 at the park.
Claudine Wargel, president of Anthro Insights, Inc., of Clinton, presented the donation to Brisard in an area of the Ultimate Play Space that already has been renovated.
“There was so much that went into it, and we’ve gotten a number of years out of it,” Wargel said. “But, I feel that, if it can have more life, then that’s really important.”
Wargel said she was happy to hear the Chamber and City planned to work together to restore the play area.
Brisard recognized the original Play Space board, which initiated the project in early 2000s.
“They were the masterminds behind all this,” she said. “The Chamber was just the source for holding the funds.”
