CLINTON – The Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) recently elected Paul Skowron, CEO, Warner Hospital & Health Services, Clinton, as its president-elect of the statewide hospital organization.

In this official role, Skowron will support the organization and its mission to strengthen and provide assistance and resources to its 57 critical access and small, rural hospital members.

“Paul has been integral in advancing the financial position of our organization and also in ensuring that priority issues posed by our hospital membership are addressed expediently and to their fullest extent,” said Pat Schou, ICAHN Executive Director. “There will be many healthcare challenges in the year ahead, and we are grateful to have him as part of our board’s executive committee.”

Skowron has been a member of ICAHN’s Finance Committee since 2016 and its Issues Committee since 2017, serving as chairman of the Issues Committee in 2018. He was elected to the ICAHN Board in 2018, served as its Secretary-Treasurer in 2019, and also serves as a Board member of the Illinois Rural Community Care Organization (IRCCO).
