Courtesy of Edvydas Cicenas — American children’s and young adult author Margaret Peterson Haddix last week visited students at Clinton Elementary School and Clinton Junior High School. Peterson Haddix is a New York Times best-selling author, whose most well known works are the two book series, Shadow Children and The Missing. She is a native of Ohio. Christina Soberalski, CES and CJHS librarian, invited Peterson Haddix to visit three years ago. Last week’s visit was originally planned as a virtual event, but eased COVID restrictions made her visit to the schools possible. More photos in the May 21 print edition of the Clinton Journal.
