CLINTON — “Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek.”
Thus, begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess.
Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and dozens of other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand ...and his name is Shrek.
Unique to this show, the Clinton High School thespian troupe production of Shrek The Musical, features CHS’s theater students as well as 4th-8th grade students from the school district.
Show times:
• March 11 at 7 p.m.
• March 12 at 2 p.m.
& 7 p.m.
• March 13 at 2 p.m.

Students (up to 12th grade): $5
Running time is two hours (plus intermission)
There will be items for sale during intermission.
No food or drink will be allowed in the auditorium.
Specially-created Shrek The Musical candles, and more will be available.
