Clinton Police Department

Arrests: 

On Monday November 5, 2018 Clinton Police arrested Melissa S. Welch, 31, Clinton, for retail theft from Sav-A-Lot. Welch was transported to the Dewitt County Jail where she was released to corrections personnel pending the posting of bond.

Andrew Beasley, 23, Bloomington, was issued a citation for Speeding (77 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Beasley was given a Notice to Appear and Released.

Ashley Goembel, 32, Heyworth, was issued a citation for Speeding (82 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Goembel was given a Notice to Appear and was Released.

MItchell McGrill, 21, Normal, was issued citations for Expired Registration, and Speeding (87 mph in a 65 mph zone).  McGrill was given a Notice to Appear and was Released.

Connie Hall, 68, Maroa, was issued a citation for Speeding (85 mph in a 65 mph zone).  Hall was given a Notice to Appear and was Released.

Kevin Westbrook, 51, Wapella, was issued a citation for Driving While LIcense Suspended.  Westbrook was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Harley Danforth, 21, Chicago, was issued a citation fro Speeding (90 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Danforth was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Carsen Culp, 19, Decatur, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Driving on Suspended License/ Failure to Appear. Culp posted the necessary bond and was released.

Keegan Dwyer, 19, Clinton, was arrested and charged with Speeding 35+ MPH Over Limit. Dwyer was issued a citation for Aggravated Speeding (102 mph in a 55 mph zone), given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Scotty Carver, 46, Clinton was arrested and charged with Driving Under Influence of Alcohol and Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm. Carver was issued Citations for 2 counts of Driving Under Influence.  Carver unable to post the necessary bond remains incarcerated.

Kiah Vanwynsberghe, 20, Geneseo, was issued a citation for Speeding (76 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Vanwynsberghe was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Sierra Wegrich, 23, Clinton, was issued a citation for Speeding (76 mph in a 55 mph zone).  Wegrich was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Dustin Ochoa, 33, Clinton was arrested and charged with Driving on Suspended License.  Ochoa posted the necessary bond and was released.

Alana Ellegood, 29, Clinton was arrested and charged with Theft/Unauthd Con/<$500.  Ellegood posted the necessary bond and was released.

Keith Pritt, 28, Decatur, was arrested and charged with Driving on Suspended License.  Pritt posted the necessary bond and was released.

All suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
