Christa Parson, 38, Lincoln, was issued a citation for Speeding (75 mph in a 55 mph zone). Parson was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Gene Blue, 58, Clinton was issued a citation for Illegal Transportation Alcohol. Blue was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Kevin Barlow, 56, Clinton, was arrested, charged and issued a citation for Driving While License Revoked. Barlow posted the necessary bond and was released.

Robert Taylor, 73, Decatur, was issued a citation for Speeding (73 mph in a 55 mph zone). Taylor was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Zachary Hoit, 27, Arrowsmith, was Arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Cause Child to Be Endangered/FTA. Hoit, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Andrew Sayers, 40, Weldon, was arrested on a DeWitt County warrant charging him with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse (6 Counts). Sayers, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Dora Wheeler, 40, Niantic, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging her with Driving on Revoked License/FTA. Wheeler, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Heath Pool, 32, Clinton, was arrested and charged with Domestic BTRY/Physical Contact. Pool being unable to post the necessary bond, remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at 0518 on 8/21/19 revealed that Andrea Weitekamp, 66, Clinton was northbound on White Pigeon Road, approaching Ospur Road intersection. Desiree Ingram, 22, Urbana was traveling eastbound on Ospur Road approaching White Pigeon Road. Weitekamp approached the stop sign but did not stop prior to entering the intersection. Upon entering the intersection, Weitekamp struck Ingram who had the right of way with no stop sign. Both vehicles left the roadway on the south east side of the intersection, facing a southeastern direction. Both Units, sustained extensive front end damage, rendering them inoperable, in the current state. Weitekamp was issued a citation for Disobey Stop Sign. Weitekamp was issued a Promise to Comply and was released.

All subjects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
