Bryan Bennett, 20, Maroa, was issued a Citation for Speeding (78 mph in a 55 mph zone). Bennett was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Jacob Moore, 24, Clinton, was issued a Citation for Driving While License Suspended during his arrest on 10/22/21. Moore posted the necessary bond and was released.
James Russell, 26, Clinton, was arrested on DeWitt County Warrant’s charging him with Home Invasion/Cause Injury and Violate Order Protection. Russell unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Wesley Baker, 43, Mahomet, was arrested on two DeWitt County Warrant’s charging him with Crim Damage to Property <$300 and Criminal Damage to Property. Baker posted the necessary bond and was released.
Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at 1736 on 10/27/21 revealed that Ryan Grady, 27, Farmer City, was traveling westbound on IL Rte 54 approaching Liberty Road and Mason Downing, 23, Kenney, was behind Grady. Grady activated a left turn signal to turn south on Liberty Road from IL Rte 54. Downing did not see the turn signal activated and attempted to pass Grady at the intersection with Liberty Road. Upon doing this, Downing stated he saw the wheels of Grady’s vehicle turning south. Downing swerved into the ditch on the south side of IL Rte 54 to avoid Unit 2. Upon doing so, Downing struck a tree in the ditch causing disabling front end damage to his vehicle. Grady sustained no damage. A citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident was issued Downing. Grady’s vehicle was driven from the scene. Downing’s vehicle was towed at his request.
Kenneth Eads, 52, Clinton, was arrested on two DeWitt County Warrants charging him with, Theft/Unauthd Con/<$500/FTA and Resist/PC Off/Corr Emp/Frftr/FTA. Eads being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
David Glixon, 67, Eugene Or, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Driving on Suspended License/FTA. Glixon posted the necessary bond and was released.
Debbie Gray, 47, Decatur, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging her with Vio Bail Bond/Class 2 Offense. Gray being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail
Dalton Baker, 21, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Theft/Unauthd Con/<$500/FTA. Baker being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Isaac Woodward, 21, Clinton, was issued a Citation for Speeding (80 mph in a 55 mph zone). Woodward was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Alisandra Meriweather-Rogers, 21, Decatur, was issued a Citation for No Valid Driver’s License. Meriweather-Rogers was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Anthony Parke, 54, Clinton, was issued a Citation for Speeding (80 mph in a 55 mph zone). Parke was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
All subjects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
