CLINTON — Manor Court, of Clinton, has been fined $25,000 by the Illinois Department of Public Health for a resident’s condition that required hospitalization.

The IDPH report concluded staff failed to complete and document “weekly skin assessments and implement pressure-relieving methods to prevent pressure ulcers.”

The IDPH reported a resident had two pressure ulcers that resulted in a would infection that required surgery.

The IDPH survey was completed in October, and the incident is listed in fourth quarter 2018 nursing home violations.
