Car headlights pierced the fog Tuesday night as the fog gradually became more dense by evening. The National Weather Service forecasts patchy fog through at least Thursday nignt. City crews continued through the week picking up tree limbs and branches brought down by the recent winter storm. City commissioner Ken Buchanan reports it could take crews several weeks to get everything picked up, barring another storm. Clinton Fire Department personnel answered 20-plus calls on Sunday dealing with downed power lines. CFD also answered four calls reporting smoke inside homes and one natural gas leak.
