MAROA — Shirley M. Lobb, 84, of Maroa, passed away at 10:41 p.m. on October 12, 2026, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was born on November 16, 1941, in Wapella, to Leo and Leona (Jamison) Cunningham. She married James Lobb on August 11, 1967.
Shirley will be sadly missed by her family; one son Michael (Lisa) Lobb, Heyworth; one daughter Susan Dunham, Maroa; six grandchildren: Meghan (Dalton) Ramsey, Bloomington; Kaley (Erik) Ruud, Flower Mound, Texas; Brenna Lobb, Mansfield, Texas; Cheyenne Dunham, Maroa, Wesley Dunham, Maroa, and Olivia Walston, Decatur; 4 great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law and best friend Arlene Unsicker, Tremont.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, former husband and friend Jim Lobb, two brothers, and one great-granddaughter Raelynn Michelle.
Shirley retired from Action Technology in 2008 after decades of service. Shirley enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers, watching NBA games and spending time with her family.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal service.
