LINCOLN — The National Weather Service is forecasting some wintry weather today through Tuesday. Below is the current National Weather Service forecast.
Today
Rain, snow, and freezing rain before 1pm, then rain between 1pm and 4pm, then rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain after 4pm. High near 34. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight
Rain or freezing rain before 4am, then a chance of rain between 4am and 5am, then a chance of freezing rain after 5am. Low around 31. East northeast wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible.
Tuesday
A chance of freezing rain before 9am, then a chance of rain between 9am and 5pm, then a slight chance of snow and freezing rain after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Northeast wind 8 to 10 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
