CLINTON — Francis Lang, of Braidwood, Ill. is facing criminal prosecution in connection with an Aug. 7 accident that sent himself and a Clinton man and his daughter to the hospital.
Lang, 46, collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a Clinton man, Joseph Adams. Adams was airlifted to a Champaign area hospital. Adams daughter was transported to a Normal, Ill. hospital, treated and released. Lang was also treated and released at an area hospital.
The accident took place on Rt. 10, east of Clinton.
Lang is charged with driving under the influence.
A hearing is scheduled in DeWitt County court on Aug. 22, according to court records.
