NORMAL — Myra Hume, 63, of Normal, formerly of LeRoy, passed away on April 21, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac.
Myra was born in Clinton, on September 14, 1960, daughter of Harold (“Mick”) and Helen (Nichols) Hume.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Nancy Bresnahan, Calafut, and her special friend, Scott Studenic.
She is survived by her brother, Kevin (Kelli Safarian-Hume).
Myra had worked at Nussbaum Trucking and the Internal Revenue Service.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12-noon on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy. The funeral service will be conducted at 12-noon, also at the funeral home. The burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, in LeRoy.
Memorial donations may be made to the Living Well Senior Center, LeRoy.
Thanks to her caregivers over the years, including the Monkman Family, Debbie Boyd, the staff at Accolade, this past year, and the staff of VITAS Healthcare (hospice), recently.
