On 02/15/20 Clinton Police arrested Cole R. Hanes 20, Clinton for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 10-30 grams, Manufacturing/Delivery of Cannabis, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Armed Violence. Hanes was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

On 02/16/20 Clinton Police arrested Derrick L. Peoples Jr 28, Bloomington for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Peoples was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

J Son Carson, 24, Decatur, was arrested, charged and issued a Citation for Driving on Suspended License. Carson posted the necessary bond and was released.

Deonte Smith, 25, Blue Island, was arrested, charged and issued a Citation for Unlwfl Poss Cannabis/Pass. Smith Posted the necessary bond and was released.

Katelyn Snyder, 19, Lincoln, was arrested, charged and issued Citations for Driving on Suspended License and Operate Uninsured MTR Vehicle. Snyder was issued a civil citation for Persons Under 21 Possession of Cannabis; Poss Cannabis <10 grams="" snyder="" posted="" the="" necessary="" bond="" and="" was="" released="" p="">

James Tipsord, 21, Bloomington, was issued a Citation for No Valid Driver’s License (Never Issued). Tipsord posted the necessary bond and was released.

Alejandro Alvarez, 21, Bloomington, was issued a Citation for Unlawful Possession Cannabis/Passenger. Alvarez posted the necessary bond and was released.

Matthew Devenbaugh, 32, Clinton, was issued Citations for Driving While Licenses Suspended and Registration Suspended Ins Violation. Devenbaugh was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Braden Harris, 19, Clinton, was issued a Citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Harris was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Robert Rardin, 34, Tuscola, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Driving on Suspended License. Rardin was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended. Rardin, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Ciara Jelks-Snow, 23, Decatur, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging her with Driving on Suspended License/FTA. Jelks-Snow, unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Gloria Chalmers, 35, Decatur, was issued a Citation for Expired Registration. Chalmers was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Morgan Gardner, 36, Clinton, was traveling south bound on Johnston St. and turned east onto Jordan St. when Gardner struck Kendra Shaw, 25, Kenney. Shaw was facing west bound, stationary at a stop sign when she was struck. The crash caused damage to the front driver’s side bumper and quarter panel of Shaw’s vehicle. There were no injuries reported. Shaw’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Gardner’s vehicle left the scene of the crash, prior to law enforcement arrival, after giving Shaw her insurance card. Gardner was issued a citation for improper lane usage. Gardner was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Dalton Bonso, 21, Bloomington, was issued a Citation for Speeding (85 mph in a 65 mph zone). Bonso was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

Alyese Leonard, 31, Bloomington was arrested, charged and issued a Citation for Driving while License Suspended. Leonard posted the necessary bond and was released.

Michael Perkins, 24, Weldon, was arrested and charged and issued a Citation for Driving on Suspended License; Unlwfl Poss Cannabis/Driver. Perkins was issued a Citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Perkins posted the necessary bond and was released.

Justin Ford, 41, Illiopolis, was issued a citation for Failure to Report an Accident to Police Authorite. Ford was given a Notice to Appear and was released.

All subjects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
