Clinton Police
Department
On July 28, Clinton Police investigated a hit and run accident in the 500 block of S. Quincy. A vehicle turned off of Van Buren Street going northbound on Quincy. The vehicle lost control and collided with a vehicle owned by Donald S. Foffel, Clinton and pushed into a vehicle owned by Tera R. West, Clinton. The vehicle then left the scene. Officers located the vehicle in the 900 block of N. Alexander Street. Andrew J. Sloat, 31, was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
On July 31, Clinton Police arrested Jayden S. Romero, 18, Clinton, and Josey B. Isaac, 20, Clinton, for aggravated battery in a public place. Both subjects were transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On Aug. 5, Clinton Police arrested Rodney L. Burton, 55, DeWitt, for aggravated battery. Burton was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On Aug. 5, Clinton Police arrested Deanna D. Aguilar, 49, DeWitt, for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence with a BAC greater than 0.8. Aguilar was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On Aug. 5, Clinton Police arrested Wade E. Finley, 52, Kenney, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Finley was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.
On Aug. 6, Clinton Police arrested Jodie D. West, 49, Normandy, Tenn., for disorderly conduct and illegal possession of ammunition / no FOID card. West was transported to the DeWitt County jail and released to corrections.

Aug. 1
Mary Walker, 33, Clinton, was arrested on a DeWitt County warrant charging her with failure to appear. Walker posted the necessary bond and was released.
Ronald Whetstone, 75, Clinton, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a revoked license. Whetstone posted the necessary bond and was released.
Jason Sharrow, 41, Lexington, was issued a citation for use of an electronic device while driving. Sharrow was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Aug. 2
Lola Barr, 23, Wapella, was arrested on a DeWitt County warrant charging her with failure to appear. Barr posted the necessary bond and was released.
Fredrick Boateng, 34, New Castle, Del. was issued a citation for speeding 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Boateng was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Krystle Belmontes, 35, Decatur, was issued a citation for speeding 85 mph in a 65 mph zone. Belmontes was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Debra Cox, 49, Pontiac, was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license. Cox was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Stephanie Riggen, 27, Clinton, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle. Riggen was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Tonya Santos, 40, Chicago, was issued a citation for speeding 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. Santos was issued a notice to appear and was relased.
Christy Porter, 40, Weldon, was issued a citation for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. Porter was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Beverley Peterson, 78, Clinton, was issued a citation for speeding 85 mph in a 65 mph zone. Peterson was Issued a notice to appear and was released.
Jake Monkman, 32, Clinton, was issued a citation for Scott’s Law Violation. Monkman was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Brandy Marshall, 43, Mt. Zion, was issued a citation for expired registration. Marshall was issued a notice to appear and was released.
Aug. 4-6
Tommy Miller, 33, Waynesville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Miller unable to post the necessary bond remains incarcerated.
All suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
