Community work day at 'The Vault' Saturday
Posted
CLINTON — The Vault has organized a "Community Work Day" this Saturday September 2, 8-2 p.m., at its building in downtown Clinton on the north side of the square.
This is the last major removal of materials so that renovation can begin. The intention is to remove all remaining materials on walls and ceiling to expose brick and steel beams in order to gain an industrial aesthetic
This will be the biggest and most challenging workday because it requires scaffolding. Organizations are providing/sponsoring teams of two, and Vault teens will make t-shirts with the organization's name for esprit and easy identification during sponsor and media visits. There will be father/son teams, churches, schools, businesses and Habitat providing community support. #openthevault
