FARMER CITY — Entries are needed for the 2018 Farmer City Christmas parade, scheduled for Sunday, November 18, starting at 2 p.m. from the Farmer City Fairgrounds.
The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas in the Wilderness.” The annual Christmas parade is sponsored by the Farmer City Chamber of Commerce and is traditionally one of the largest Christmas parades in Central Illinois.
Traditional entrants include various high school bands, Shrine entries, holiday floats, former WCIA Channel 3 weather forecaster Judy Fraser and many others.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to enter and can contact Chad Wills, parade chairman, at (309) 386-2791; send their entries to Chad Wills, 101 Comet Lane, Heyworth, Ill. 61745.
