CLINTON — Recently, the Clinton Maroons’ golf team participated in its final season home meet, hosting the Clinton Invitational with 12 teams participating.
The Maroons fared well, running in the middle of the field led by Carson Schmid with a 46. Camden Zook of Tri-Valley took the medalist honors with a 39.
The Tri-Valley team came in first place followed by Roanoke-Benson in second and Eureka in third (in a scorecard playoff with Hartem-Delavan). After the match there was a luncheon (grilled burgers and hot dogs) for the participants as the trophies were awarded.
