The Vespasian Warner Pubic Library board recently named Bobbi Perryman new library director. Joan Rhoades retired as director in December after nearly 30 years with the library. Rhoades began as a clerk, earning her masters degree in library science while with the library. Perryman received her masters in library science from the University of Illinois in 2007. She began as a library page in 2000 and then became adult services librarian in 2007. She served as assistant director from 2013-2017. Perryman lives with her husband Sam, son Xavier and daughter Rose.
