Illinois Central College
E. PEORIA, Ill. — Illinois Central College student Joseph Denney, of Le Roy, was named to the President’s List honors during the Spring 2021 semester. President’s List recognition is achieved with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Illinois Central College is a two-year community college with campuses in East Peoria, Peoria, and Pekin.
Lakeview College of Nursing
DANVILLE — Madison Rigsby of Heyworth, was recently recognized for graduating from Lakeview College of Nursing.
Rigsby earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree through the college›s Danville location.
She is a 2013 graduate of Herscher High School, in Herscher, Ill.
She is the daughter of Larry Rigsby, of Belleview, Fla., and Brian and Debi Sexton, of Mahomet.
Lakeview College of Nursing offers a bachelor of science in nursing degree. It is a single-purpose, private institution that has specialized in nursing education in the Danville area since 1894.
Missouri State University
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the dean’s list.
For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 grade point average (on a 4.00 scale).
More than 5,000 students were named to the spring 2021 dean’s list. The following local students made the list:

Monmouth College
MONMOUTH, Ill. — The following students recently fulfilled the graduation requirements at Monmouth College. On May 16, the College held an outdoor commencement ceremony, during which Class of 2021 graduates were able to walk across the Wallace Hall stage to receive their diploma in front of a limited number of guests.

WHITEWATER, Wis. — Marissa Adams, from LeRoy, was one of the students named to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dean’s List for the 2021 spring semester.
These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
“We congratulate these students on their hard work and impressive acomplishment,” said interim Provost Greg Cook. “Amid all of the challenges this year, it’s remarkable how students are learning and achieving, both in and outside the classroom. Through hard work and determination - and with the support of our outstanding faculty and staff - these Warhawks excelled and are to be commended.”

This award is given to students showing excellence in biology by achieving a GPA of at least a 3.85 in their biology courses.
John Carroll University is located in University Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland.
University of Mississippi
OXFORD, Miss. — Kaitlyn Ann Bradford, of Farmer City, was recently named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2021 Honor Roll lists.
Bradford was named to the Dean›s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.
In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
