Courtesy of Marleen Monts —
The CCHS Class of 1964 held its 55-year class reunion on August 10 at Stones’ End, in Clinton. There were approximately 43 classmates who came from Massachusetts, Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota, Arkansas and Tennessee and joined members of the class from Clinton and all over Illinois to enjoy the festivities. The honored guest for the evening was Clinton High School former teacher, Betty Adcock. Participants enjoyed music from the 1960s and were entertained by emcees, Lois (Hamm) Thurner and Larry Sweazy, who provided funny anecdotes about their high school days.. Also honored were 23 deceased members of the Class of 1964. Several door prizes were given to those members whose names were drawn at random.
