KENNEY — All-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast is scheduled for 7-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Kenney Community Center. Donation only.
Terror on Washington Street Haunted House
CLINTON — The Clinton Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau Terror on Washington Street Haunted House will continue Oct. 25, 26 and 31, and Nov. 1 and 2. Times, 7:13- 11 p.m. on all nights except Oct. 31, 7:13-9 p.m.
Waynesville Women’s Auxiliary ‘feather party’ November 1
WAYNESVILLE — The Waynesvill Women’s Auxiliary will hod a holiday feather party from 5:30-9:30p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at the American Legion hall. Turkey, hams and other cool prizes will be available to win. The Sons of the American Legion also will serve cheeseburgers that evening.
Veterans breakfast November 9 at Clinton American Legion
CLINTON — A veterans breakfast is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Crang-Bennet American Legion Hall, 219 N. Elizabeth Street in honor of DeWitt County veterans.
All area veterans and their guest are invited.
Following the breakfast, there will be a program, “Changing the Face of Freedom,” by Jill Henry, U.S. Army (Ret.)
‘Youth Mental Health FIrst Aid’ November 9 at CJHS
CLINTON — Clinton Junior High School will host a “Youth Mental Health First Aid” class from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, in the school library.
Farmer City United Methdist Church also will host a class on Thursday, Nov. 21, same time as above.
Attendance at only one meeting is necessary for certification.
Fee will be $25 and will include book and lunch.
