On 09/11/20 Clinton Police arrested Chad D. Bright 47, Clinton for Criminal Trespass to State Supported Property. Bright was transported to the DeWitt County Jail and released to Corrections.

Jackie Ward, 45, Farmer City, was issued a Citation for Speeding (85 mph in a 55 mph zone). Ward was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Anissa Emmerson, 41, Paxton, was arrested and charged with Driving on Revoked License; Possess Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of Meth <5grams; No registration lite/1st & 2nd and a DeWitt County Warrant charging her with Residential Burglary/FTA. Emmerson was issued a Citation for Driving while License Revoked. Emmerson, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Dustin Ragle, 27, Urbana, was arrested and charged with Possession of Meth<5 grams and Possess Drug Paraphernalia. Ragle, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Roger Reynolds, 60, Weldon, was arrested and charged with Failure to Appear. Reynolds, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Scotty Carver, 48, Bloomington, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm. Carver posted the necessary bond and was released.
Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred on 8/31/20 at 1646 revealed that Mark Funderburk, 40, Decatur, was northbound on Main Street in Waynesville, approaching a stop sign intersection with Second Street. Jessica Boolman, 40, Decatur, was eastbound on Second Street with no stop sign. Funderburk failed to stop at the intersection, striking the driver side of Boolman’s vehicle as it traveled through the intersection. Funderburk was issued a Citation for Disobey Stop Sign. Funderburk was given a Notice to Appear and was released. Boolman’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Tiann Austin, 19, Clinton, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm. Austin, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Jeremy Cyrulik, 48, Clinton, was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm. Cyrulik, being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Evan Kohl, 20, Cerro Gordo, was issued a Citation for Operating an Uninsured vehicle. Kohl was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Cody Herald, 28, Farmer City, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Vio Bail Bond/Family Member. Herald posted the necessary bond and was released.
Derrick Douglas, 19, Decatur, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Obstruction Identification/FTA. Douglas being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.
Nakiya Flagg, 22, Decatur, was issued a Citation for Speeding (91 mph in a 65 mph zone). Flagg was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Christina Edwards, 19, Lincoln, was issued a Citation for Speeding (68 mph in a 55 mph zone). Edwards was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred on 9/5/20 at 1729 revealed that Jeremy Tippet, 19, Clinton was traveling west on State Highway 10, east of Paintball Road. Tippett was cresting the hill near the address of 6325 State Highway 10, when he observed the slow-moving tractor and other vehicles. Tippet said he tried to avoid a front-end collision and turned towards the left (west bound lane). When Tippett turned his wheel in an abrupt action, the rear end of his vehicle slid sideways and struck the rear end of Patrick Reynolds, 16, Clinton. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. Tippet was issued a Citation for Failure to Reduce Speed/Accident. Tippet was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
Oscar Lopez-Escobar, 34, Clinton, was arrested and charged with DRVG Under Influ of Alcohol and DRVG Under Influ/BAC 0.08. Lopez-Escobar was issued citations for 2 Counts of Driving Under the Influence. Lopez-Escobar posted the necessary bond and was released.
Dalton Meade, 25, Heyworth, was arrested on a DeWitt County Warrant charging him with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence (DUI) No Valid License/FTA. Meade posted the necessary bond and was released.
All subjects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
