What's in the library's 1981 time capsule?
Gordon Woods / Journal ā Vespasian Warner Public Library District director Bobbi Perryman, left, helps children's librarian Paula Lopatic open a banner of children's handprints during Friday's opening of the library's 1981 time capsule. At right, Samantha Rusk broadcast the event live on the library's Facebook page. The time capsule contained a number of children's items, a letter from Stan Stites and coverage from the Clinton Journal, among other items. The time capsule was sealed for the library's anniversary in 1981 and was intended to be opened after 25 years. The box recently was discovered in an archive area of the library.See photos in the Friday, Oct. 25 edition of the Clinton Journal.
