CLINTON — Although it’s only June, the Clinton Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its Annual Haunted House, “Terror on Washongton Street.”  

This year will mark the 25th year of “Scarin’ Central Illinois.”  

Since 1994, Clinton residents of all ages have worked to draw thousands of people to the community each October.  

To celebrate the anniversary of the Haunted House,, the Clinton Chamber is selling special event license plates commemorating the milestone. The plates are being sold for $20 per set and may be displayed on your car or truck from September 2 until October 31.  

Anyone is welcome to purchase the plates.  The Chamber encourages all past and present “ghouls and goblins” to participate in this fundraiser.  A sample plate will be on display in the Chamber office.
