Vespasian Warner Library to host classic murder mystery game

CLINTON – Put on your favorite masquerade mask and get your sleuthing mind ready.

The community is invited to a special “Murder at Mardi Gras” event hosted by the Vespasian Warner Public Library on Saturday, February 22 from 1-3 p.m.

The event will center on a classic murder mystery game with a Mardi Gras theme. Pierre DuPre has been murdered and it’s time for all party revelers to discover the truth about his demise. Was it the greed of those around him that put old Pierre in the grave? His beloved family members, friends, and neighbors now have become suspects in this Garden District murder!

All participants will select a character role prior to the event. No acting experience, stage performance, preparation, or line memorization is required.  However, costumes are encouraged.

Refreshments will be served and prizes will also be awarded.  Space is limited and registration is required for this free event.  Participants must be at least 18 years old.

For more information or to register, stop by the library at 310 N. Quincy Street in Clinton or call Marie at 217-935-5174.
