CLINTON — With the winding down of summer sports, the school sports are beginning.
This past week, the junior high softball camp has been going on in the mornings to beat the heat. There are many girls participating this year, and coach Nunnery reported he was pleased with the turnout.
Nunnery has also had help from last year’s high school softball players.
The camp will conclude this week, and the tryouts for the junior high softball team will be held on Monday, July 24 from 9 a.m.-noon. All those trying out must have a current physical to participate.
