WAYNESVILLE — ‘Waynesville Fling’ will be held Friday, Aug. 18-Sunday, Aug. 20.
Activities will begin on Friday in the park at 5 p.m. with supper, prince and princess contest and lazer tag. Live band Stone Cold Cowboys will end the evening at the American Legion hall.
Saturday’s activities will begin with breakfast at the Methodist Church followed by fun in the park and lunch at the Christian Church.
Pie and ice cream will be served before and after the parade at the Methodist Church. The parade will begin at 3 p.m. with grand marshal Eddie Bear. The theme for this year’s parade is Classic Country in the ‘Ville.
Following the parade, activities will continue in the park. Supper will be served at the Legion from 5-8 p.m. with the band 90s Daughter playing from 8-11:30 a.m.
Sunday’s activity will be a wiffle ball tournament in the park. For a full schedule of times and events, go to Facebook and enter “Waynesville Fling.”
