The five DeWitt County Board members who voted against Tradewind’s wind farm apparently think our county is flush with cash, and the impending Clinton Power Station closure is no big deal.
Nonsense; it is definitely a big deal! Without new revenue you can bet our DeWitt County taxes will go up and cuts to local services will be deep. These five board members claim to be fiscally responsible Republicans, yet they have not submitted an alternative plan to show fiscal responsibility. What is their plan for DeWitt County revenue if/when the Clinton Power Station closes?
