Clinton High School student part of program to encourage entrepreneurship

CLINTON — Seventeen-year-old Emma Culbertson has been interested in business for several years. Now, as a junior at Clinton High School, she took the opportunity to start her own business, focusing on her talents and love of art.

Culbertson created by em, a sign business she turned into an LLC (limited liability corporation) last February.

All of this, she says, came about due to her involvement in the Central Illinois Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CICEO).
