Assembly of God raises flag after more than a year
Courtesy of Clinton Assembly of God — A U.S. flag now flies at the Clinton Assembly of God church for the first time in more than a year. A fire destroyed the sanctuary building in June 2020. The church held a flag-raising ceremony in honor of late church member Ed Reynolds. Reynolds, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, ensured the flag always flew at the church and replaced it when necessary. He was a teacher at the church academy until his health failed. Pictured is Pastor Nick Blacklidge, left, and Dennis Reynolds.
