A message from CHS student council about Spirit Week:
Student council has decided to host a CHS Spirit Week Oct 13-16 to celebrate the end of the quarter! We are currently voting on dress-up spirit days, but wanted to let you all know of some other challenges to get the classes involved.
Just like with homecoming, we will have Spirit Day Tally sheets placed in your mailbox.PLEASE COUNT YOUR SPIRIT PARTICIPANTS 7th hour (which is technically 8th hour) because we want to count BACC students. Male sure your tally sheets are placed in Manning or Bent's mailbox by the end of the day on Friday 16th!
We will also be having a "Yoga Challenge" for students and teachers to win prizes, a classroom door decorating contest, and a socially distanced relay competition (which will be recorded and played for announcements).
All participating parties will earn class points that will be tallied to win the prize we usually give out for homecoming week. 1st place will win $250 for the class fund, 2nd place will win $200, and 3rd place will win $150.
Our Student Council Spirit stick is currently residing with our Juniors (Class of 2022)!
We encourage all our teachers, staff, and admin to participate! More to come in the near future. Thank you all!
There will not be a homecoming event or parade.
Dress Up Days are as follows:
Monday - No School
Tuesday - Breakfast Club (PJ Day)
Wednesday - Harry Potter (Class Color Day)
Seniors - Blue (Ravenclaw)
Juniors - Yellow (Hufflepuff)
Soph - Red (Gryffindor)
Fresh - Green (Slytherin)
Teachers - Black (He Who Must Not Be Named!)
Thursday - Movies through the Decades! (Choose a decade)
Friday - Mean Girls (Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness)
