‘Flat Lincoln’ coming to a place near you


CLINTON — Have a little fun this summer by having your photo taken next to a two-dimensional Abe Lincoln.

“Flat Lincoln” will be on tour at several businesses and other locations this summer to help promote local tourism.  The program is conducted by the Lincoln Heritage Committee of DeWitt County, a committee of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau.

“Flat Lincoln will be at the Clinton Chamber office through today before moving on to Heartland Bank & Trust Company from June 14-19.  From there, he will be at Subway sandwich shop from June 21-27, C.H. Moore Homestead & DeWitt County Museum from June 29-July 11 and then wrapping up his tour at Vespasian Warner Public Library from July 12-25.
