CLINTON — The Clinton Maroons were at home to host the Olympia Spartans.  Olympia has been a tough foe through the past few years, so this promised to be a good night of basketball. 

The first quarter of the junior varsity (JV) game was close with the Spartans gaining a 1-point lead into the second round of play.  The Maroons then went on an 11-4 run to take a 20-14 lead at halftime. 

The halftime talks must have been good for the Maroons because the home team blasted onto the court and produced a 20-4 run giving the home team a 40-18 lead going into the fourth quarter.
