Gordon Woods / Journal — Hawthorne Inn recognized its resident veterans on Veterans Day. Several veterans received certificates and pins acknowledging their service. Hawthorne veterans honored included Dale Barr, U.S. Army; James Cockrell, U.S. Army; Vernon Greutman, U.S. Air Force; Vernie Raglan, U.S. Army; and Thomas Spencer, U.S. Air Force. Paul Espy, U.S. Army, the father-in-law of Hawthorne Inn’s director, came for a visit and also was recognized. See more photos on page A7.
