Santa coming to the Ho-Ho -Homestead

Museum adapting to COVID restrictions to offer special event

Posted

CLINTON — On the evening of Nov. 27, from 6-7 p.m., drive by the C.H. Moore Homestead DeWitt County Museum, 219 E. Woodlawn in Clinton, to see the Victorian mansion adorned with Christmas lights.

Santa will be at the museum gates waving to all passersby and will hand a little treat to each child. This DeWitt County Museum Association-sponsored event is free and open to the public.

Drivers are asked to approach the museum via Madison Street to participate in this “drive-by only” event. Participants should remain in their vehicles at all times.

Due to current mandates, there will be no Santa Night photos in the carriage barn, nor will there be any Christmas Candlelight Tours at the museum this holiday season.
