CLINTON — Barbara Ann Ely-Beasley, 76, of Clinton, passed away at 11:09 a.m. on October 30, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur,  Ill.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from noon–2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.

Barbara was born on November 4, 1941, in Evanston, Ill., the daughter of Paul and Sadie (Thompson) Neal. She married Thomas Lee Ely June 28, 1959 in Clinton.  He passed away on May 1, 2001. She later married Thomas J. Beasley on January 11, 2003, in Clinton. He passed away on  April 7, 2005.

Survivors include her children, Brian (Andrea) Ely, Frisco, Texas; Brenda (Don) Woelfel, Bethalto, Ill.; Karen (Mike) Mandrell, Forsyth, Ill.; Janet (David) Peistrup, DesPeres, Mo.; nine grandchildren, and special friend, Duane Glenn, Clinton.

Barbara was a member of the First Christian Church and the church choir. She enjoyed knitting and quilting and was a member of the Salt Creek Patch Makers.
