LAKE DALLAS, Texas — Delores Jean Lowrey, 83, of Lake Dallas, Texas, formerly of Lane, Ill., died on December 16, 2016, at her home in Lake Dallas.
Delores was born on September 21, 1933, in Lane, the daughter of Minor and Ina Bennett. She was married to John C. Lowrey, of Clinton, for 15 years.
Survivors include her children, Jean Zertuche (Albert) and Jon Mark Lowrey (Tammy); and was the sister of Roberta Meeks and Harold Bennett, who preceded Delores in passing. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Renee and Katherine Zertuche, of San Diego, Calif. and Kristine Lowrey, of Dallas, Texas.
Delores was a member of the Lane Christian Church. She retired in 2005.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Lane Christian Church on May 26, 2017 at 1 p.m., followed by a dinner in the fellowship Hall.
