CLINTON — Dorothy Elizabeth Kuntz, 90, of Clinton, passed away at 1:28 a.m. on August 1, 2019, at Manor Court, Clinton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Fr. James Henning, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wapella. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.
Memorials may be directed to St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, or the DeWitt County Friendship Center.
Dorothy was born on June 15, 1929, in Wapella, the daughter of Mike and Lois (McIntire) Reynolds. She married Russell F. Kuntz on October 8, 1949, at St. Mary’s Church, Bloomington, Ill. He passed away on August 9, 2000.
Survivors include her children, Robert F. (Debra) Kuntz, Clinton; Steven M. (Nancy) Kuntz, DeWitt; Judith A. (Marvin) Simpson, Ruckersville, Va.; Mary E. (Ed) Jackson, Normal; Karen S. (Robert) Polen, Oak Grove, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Don (Jean) Reynolds and John (Beverly) Reynolds both of Clinton.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ruth, and one brother, Harold.
Dorothy was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. She was a member of the DeWitt County Home Extension.
