CLINTON — Frances L. Brennan, 92, of Clinton, passed away at 6:37 p.m. on March 28, 2020, at Manor Court, Clinton.
Private graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at Weldon Cemetery, Weldon, with Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. A memorial service will be at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the A.S.P.C.A.
Frances was born on January 20, 1928, in Clinton, the daughter of Frank and Ida (Farnsworth) Brewer. She married Karl M. Brennan on May 30, 1953, in Clinton. He passed away on April 22, 2003.
Survivors include her children, Karla (Ed) Brady, Clinton, and Rob (Connie) Brennan, Lincoln; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margarite Williamson, Clinton, and Joseph (Shelley) Brewer, Lockhart, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Frances was a telephone operator in Clinton. She was a member of the Illinois Women’s Bowling Association and the Eagles Ladies’ Auxiliary. Frances was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
