CLINTON — Harry Raynor Wheeler, 68, of Clinton, passed away 6:07 p.m. on October 11, 2019, in rural Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Boy Scout Troop 1142 or The Weldon Springs Foundation.
Harry was born on February 8, 1951 in Ottawa, Kan., the son of Archie and Elizabeth (Waymire) Wheeler. He married Brenda Kay Phelps on October 27, 1973, in Rolla, Mo. She passed away on December 2, 2009.
Survivors include his children, Michelle (Brian) Greenslate, Mackinaw, Ill.; Nathan (Sarah) Wheeler, Clinton; Christopher (Megan) Wheeler, Clinton; grandchildren, Tyler Wheeler, Savannah Wheeler, Noah Wheeler, Ella Wheeler, and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and in-laws, Wilbert and Lucille Phelps, Rolla, Mo.
He loved the outdoors and spending time with his grandkids.
