BRIDGETON, Mo. — Marcia Washburn, 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at her home in Bridgeton, Mo.
Marcia was the daughter of Harold and Jean Washburn, and sister to Jay Washburn, all who have proceeded her in death. She is survived by her aunt Helen Halcomb, Farmer City, nephew, Jeff Washburn, Fla., her partner, Wayne Wilson, Bridgeton, Mo., step-son, Dewayne Wilson and his children, Seattle, Wash., and several cousins.
Marcia was a member of Clinton Community High School Class of 1965 where she was active on the usher staff and chorus and performed in many plays and concerts. After high school she worked for several insurance agencies in Clinton, the Clinton Power Plant, and retired from an electrical engineering firm in St. Louis. She was a member of the Clinton First Christian Church.
There will be no formal internment or memorial service. Each one can honor her by remembering happy times they spent with Marcia and donating to Pancreatic Cancer Research or charity of the donor’s choice.
