CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Robert “June Bug” Steiert JR., 17, passed away on Friday October 13, 2017. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday October, 26 2017, at  5 p.m , at the First Baptist church in Clinton. 

Junior was born on the Oct. 26, 1999, in Decatur, Ill., to Kassi Marshall, of Lane, Ill. and Robert Steiert SR. of Clarksville Tenn. During Junior’s life, he was a student of Clinton school district, Decatur school district and Northeast high school, in Clarksville. 

He is survived by his mother Kassi and father Robert. He is also survived by his brother Koltin Steiert, great -grandmother Ilene Mann, maternal grandmother Cathy Marshall and maternal grandfather Duane Marshall, paternal grandparents Richard (Sharon) Steiert and, grandmother Barb McLean. He is also survived by his uncle Shawn (Jennifer) Steiert , Uncle Kirby West and Aunt Kristina (Jacob) Fatheree, Cousin’s Piper, Paisley, Canvas and three very special cousins Alexas, Trenton and Cody. Junior was loved by so many that it is hard to list everyone. He had several great aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Junior was currently enrolled in Northeast high school. He was an outgoing spontaneous young man, he always had a smile on his face and laughter in his eyes. He loved football and played defensive end, and wide receiver positions. He was also a member of the Choir. He was involved with the First Baptist church Saint Bethlehem in Clarksville Tenn., and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Clinton. Junior was involved with so many people and so many friends. He never knew a stranger. We can all share so many memories to help ease our grief and keep his memory alive. 

Junior was preceded in death by his grandfather Walter (Skip) Mann Jr. and a very special family friend Crystal Diggs. 

Junior loved the Alabama Crimson Tide. Junior had many dreams; he had plans to enlist in the military and serve his country. The family wishes to thank everyone who loved Junior and whohad the privilege of knowing such a spectacular young man. 

His service will celebrate his life since it is his birthday. Please bring a balloon to float up to Heaven to show Junior just how much he is loved.
