FARMER CITY — Blue Ridge Schools Superintendent, Dr. Hillary Stanifer,  gave a presentation to the Farmer City Kiwanis Club on Monday, September 8. She updated the group on the current status of instruction in the schools and additional federal funding that will be coming to the district to provide support for students who could benefit from extra help and resources.  Dr. Stanifer promoted the district app (Blue Ridge #18, IL) which will send notifications to your device so you can stay informed about the district, regardless of whether you have students in school.

Kiwanis Club of Farmer City serves the children of the Blue Ridge district and their communities through a variety of service projects. The club meets at 6 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at the Farmer’s Cafe. All interested individuals are welcome to join the group. For more information call club secretary, Susan Wilson, at 309-533-1471.
