CLINTON — Dana Rosten, 62, of Clinton, passed away on June 5, 2024, at Lincoln Village Healthcare Center.

She was predeceased by her father, Paul Dalton.

She is survived by her husband, Ray, her brother, Rick, her mother, Merry, her three sons, Drew, Brian and Tim, her daughters-in-law Bryanna and Samantha, and her grandchildren, Rae, Isaac and Leo.

Dana was unyieldingly generous and amassed a large circle of friends and family that she kept in touch with regularly as a result. She also owned a business, which she passed on to her cousin Scott, who ran it with his brother Kyle before they sold it in the late 2010s.

Dana graduated from Clinton High School in 1979 and helped organize class reunions since. Dana had lived with Scott and Kyle’s mother, Gretchen, while she worked her first full-time job at Miller Container in the early 1980s. Dana remained close with Gretchen for her entire life.

Dana also cherished her other cousins, uncles, aunts, friends, and extended family. But, Dana’s foremost role in life was wife, mother and grandmother, roles to which she devoted all her energy. Few people on this Earth are as thoughtful and committed to their children as Dana was to hers. Her children, grandchildren, and all of her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with her sons, Brian, Andrew and Timothy speaking.

Private burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. A gathering for friends and family will be held from 10–11 a.m. on June 15, 2024, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
