CLINTON — Darrin Lee Fort, 55, of Clinton, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on October 16, 2019 at his family residence in Clinton.
A celebration of life with be determined at a later date. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with cremation rites.
Darrin, the son of Ivan E. and Ruthanne (Provin) Fort, was born on January 27, 1964, in Bloomington.
Survivors include his daughter, Megan Fort, of Bourbonnais, Ill.; parents, Ivan E. and Ruthanne Fort, Clinton; brother, Scott Fort, Bloomington,; and his beloved cat, Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Darrin worked for 25 years for Wallace Business Forms, in Clinton. Darrin’s passion included the maintenance, washing, and “joy rides” in his ‘70 Chevelle. Darrin was an avid drag race fan and raced his 68 Camaro at many of the local drag tracks.
Throughout Darrin’s life he acquired many life stories full of adventure and laughter. Darrin was known for befriending anyone and everyone. Darrin touched the lives of the people he surrounded and will be gravely missed by many.
