CLINTON — David A. Baker, 83, of Clinton, passed away at 7:10 p.m. on January 11, 2021, at his family residence, Clinton.
Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Second Chance for Pet pet adoption.
David was born on July 5, 1937, in Gravette, Ark., the son of Maurice J. and Gladys Leola Mae (James) Baker. He married Vonajean Schmidt on November 6, 1959, in Bloomington, Ill. She passed away on January 15, 2019.
Survivors include his children, Jean Ann Baker, Clinton; Teresa Lynne Baker, Clinton; Michael A. Baker, Clinton; seven grandchildren, Kindra, Cami, Kelley, Jeremy, Christine, Kayla, and Laura; eight great- grandchildren; siblings: John Baker, Lois (Ron) Hall, Joseph Baker, Carole (James) Kalmes; and Rita Baker.
David was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
David retired from Revere Copper & Brass, Inc. He enjoyed bowling and horseshoe-pitching and was an avid fisherman.
