WAYNESVILLE — Ernest Ray Frost, 76, of Waynesville, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on July 22, 2020, at his family residence, Waynesville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Pastor Robert Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Long Point Cemetery, Wapella. Visitation will be held from 3–5 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.
Memorials may be directed to the Ernest Ray Frost memorial fund.
Ernest was born on June 9, 1944, in Clinton, the son of Albert Ray and Janice Louise (Burger) Frost. He married Linda Cummings on April 24, 1973, in Lincoln.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Frost, Waynesvi; children: Randi Smith, Lincoln; Tammy Standard, Lincoln; Denise Naugle (Jim Quisenberry), Lincoln; Kenneth Frost, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Janet Danbury, Minonk, Ill.; Anthony (Melissa) Frost, Springfield, Mo.; and Gerald Frost, Springfield, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonita McManus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
Ernest was president of ABATE for eight years and was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast.
